Information on hazards in the workplace
Employers have a duty to systematically identify hazards and risks in the company and to take the necessary measures. Employees must be informed of the resulting rules and follow the employer’s instructions. They must also wear the PPE provided.
In the world of work, there are many different hazards to the health and safety of employees.
As a general rule, employers must call in occupational safety specialists if there are particular hazards in the company as per Annex 1 of the ASA Directive. These specialists support them with the planning and implementation of measures.
An overview of the various hazards can be found under the heading of hazard identification.
