Welcome to the website of FCOS

The FCOS aims to reduce occupational accidents and diseases throughout Switzerland. The Commission, elected by the Federal Council, is the central coordinating body in the field of occupational safety and health protection. It delegates tasks to the so-called implementing bodies and supports them in their implementation. EKAS has an office for operational support.

The FCOS office assists the Commission in preparing its decisions and ensures their implementation. It is the information centre and operational hub of the FCOS. Its remit includes handling technical matters. It also deals with the financial management of Commission decisions.
The office is managed by the managing director.
